We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resource Coordinator to join our growing team! This role plays a key part in supporting HR operations, managing employee records, payroll, and policies while helping to foster a positive, compliant, and organized workplace culture.
Your Impact as a Human Resource Coordinator / Activity DirectorIn this role, you will:
Manage Employee Data
:
Process new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations in HR systemsAssist with Recruitment
:
Screen applications and resumes, assess qualifications, and offer hiring recommendationsAdvise on Policies
:
Support managers and employees with questions related to HR policies and proceduresHandle Payroll & Records
:
Respond to payroll inquiries and maintain accurate personnel recordsSupport Employment Transactions
:
Guide decisions on promotions, transfers, reductions-in-force, and classification reviewsCoordinate Recognition Programs
:
Oversee employee events and ensure alignment with recognition guidelinesMaintain Compliance
:
Monitor personnel files and risk documentation in accordance with federal and state lawsPerform Administrative Functions
:
Prepare correspondence, manage data entry, and create HR reports as neededInterpret and Enforce Policies
:
Educate staff on policies, employment law, and workplace procedures- Document Activity Programs
:
Maintain detailed records of activity programs and resident participation, identifying progress toward established care plan goals. - Conduct Resident Assessments
:
Perform resident activity histories and assessments in compliance with state and federal standards. - Coordinate Communication
:
Publish and distribute a monthly calendar of events and periodic facility newsletters to keep residents and families informed. - Build Volunteer Engagement
:
Develop and maintain an active and effective volunteer program to support activities.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll
Demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking skills
Communicates professionally and effectively with all levels of staff
Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive matters
Is proficient in HR software, data entry, and reporting systems
Understands labor law and HR compliance requirements
Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team
