Position

We are looking for a positive, energetic and experienced Human Resources Coordinator with a wide variety of abilities that complement ISC’s culture of integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with divisional human resources manager and project management to identify staffing needs, required credentials / experience and determine best recruiting practices to attract the most highly qualified candidates.
  • Research, source (using cold calls, referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to project management.
  • Work well with others and be a team player.
  • Must be detail–oriented, capable of multi‑tasking and able to work independently.
  • Respond to requests, questions and employment inquiries in a friendly, professional and timely manner, both in person and on the telephone.
  • Attend to walk‑in applicants as well as assist applicants with completing online application.
  • Responsible to review and track applicants in the applicant tracking system.
  • Responsible for screening, interviewing and recruiting craft candidates.
  • Proactively communicate with HR Management regarding any questions, uncertainties, or potential discrepancies in protocol.
  • Coordinate medical screenings, safety council and background checks.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation and provide onboarding guidance.
  • Receive, track and enter drug and medical screens, site credentials and all external requirements.
  • Communicate clearance status, start dates and job site requirements to applicants/employees.
  • Understand all company policies and procedures and the importance of assuring they are followed and not bypassed.
  • Perform other administrative functions as assigned.
  • Promote teamwork; coach and guide others.
Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for craft positions, preferably electrical experience and/or degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with understanding of meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Typically has 5+ years’ experience with Industrial Construction and/or Maintenance background.
