The Rad Tech Assistant assists the staff technologist as directed and supports delivering high‑quality imaging services.

• Safely transport patients via bed, stretcher, or wheelchairs, using oxygen units and maintaining proper equipment.
• Maintain infection control principles during patient transport, alerting staff of status.
• Use transport equipment safely, including slide boards, maxi slides, and multi‑person lifts.
• Ensure patients are properly clothed before transport, maintaining privacy and dignity, and notify technical staff of arrival.
• Assist in reception area: check patients in, answer phones, provide general assistance.
• Accompany the staff technologist on portable x‑ray examinations to aid positioning.

Must be enrolled in the Baptist Hospital School of Radiologic Technology Program with at least 7 months to 1 year of experience.

Must hold active NCT or LMRT status (stat) license.
