Summary
  • Position Type:
    Full-time, non-exempt, hourly supervisor role.
  • Scope of Role:
    Supervises a single program or unit; typically supports 4-8 individuals in residential settings or 10-15 individuals in periodic, vocational or day programs. Duties span direct support, program activities, and supervision.
  • Work Schedule:

    8–16 flexible hours per week in a supervisory capacity; additional direct support hours as required.
  • Pay Rate: $12.00 an hour.
  • Location:

    McAnelly – Beaumont, TX.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Direct Support Professionals.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including delivery of supports, implementation of person‑centered plans, health care, advocacy, customer engagement, regulatory compliance, and oversight of the physical environment.
  • Provide direct support for remaining hours outside supervisory duties.
Services and Supports
  • Direct Support:
    Works scheduled shifts as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).
  • Records:
    Documents required information, reviews individual records, billing, and program documentation for accuracy and completion daily.
  • Program Planning:
    Assists the Program Director in developing individual plans; trains staff on implementation.
  • Team Meetings:
    Attends and assists routine progress meetings.
  • Compliance:
    Supports licensing compliance, implements Sevita compliance plan, and manages individual rights implementation.
  • Financial Management:
    Oversees individual assets, monitors spending, reconciles financial accounts monthly.
  • Incident Reporting:
    Completes or assists DSPs in documenting incidents; submits reports to the Program Director.
  • Billing and Utilization:
    Compiles census or attendance data; reviews accuracy; submits data to appropriate billing authority.
Health Care
  • General Health Care:
    Monitors health, documents care, communicates with medical professionals, implements preventive strategies, and reviews documentation across shifts.
  • Appointments:
    Schedules or assists in scheduling health care appointments; may accompany individuals and document visits.
  • Medications:
    Administers or supports self‑administration of medication, documents delivery, reviews medication records, and maintains proper medication security.
  • Medical Supplies and Equipment:
    Purchases and maintains medical supplies and equipment with the Program Director; trains staff on proper use.
  • Dietary Planning:
    Develops menus, purchases or oversees purchasing of food and supplies, and monitors food service per individual plans.
Stakeholder Relations
  • Communications:
    Maintains professional relations with individuals, families, case managers and other stakeholders.
  • Customer Service:
    Implements Sevita Customer Service Standards and trains DSPs in delivery.
Personnel
  • Recruitment and Hiring:
    Assists with recruitment and interviewing of DSPs.
  • Employee Scheduling:
    Populates and maintains schedule to assure coverage and minimize overtime.
  • Training:
    Conducts onboarding and ongoing training; verifies training records.
  • Evaluation:
    Prepares and conducts annual evaluations for DSPs.
  • Discipline and Termination:
    Coaches employees, directs behavior, and participates in termination decisions.
  • Employee Safety:
    Ensures worker safety and compliance with workers’ compensation.
  • Management Meetings:
    Leads monthly program meetings for DSPs and documents agendas.
Financial Management
  • Purchasing:
    Purchases supplies, reviews credit card statements, and monitors spending.
  • Served Funds Management:
    Safeguards individuals’ funds and updates financial ledgers.
  • Billing and Utilization:
    Ensures accurate billing and monitors utilization.
  • Staffing:
    Monitors staffing hours for budget compliance.
Census Management
  • Census Capture:
    Captures daily census accurately.
  • Census Performance:
    Understands census measurement and performance.
  • Placements:
    Supports location preparations for placements.
Maintenance
  • Vehicles:
    Inspects vehicle safety, performs maintenance, and trains staff.
