Project Lead - Automation Systems

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and execute internal and customer facing communications on projects surrounding the design, configuration, testing, start-up & commissioning of automation systems - DCS, PLCs.
• Take a lead role in the project planning phase - from the sales handoff to creating and defining the deliverables, project schedule, financials and key timelines.
• Manage and execute control system upgrades - working with Hardware & Software.
• Develop system design documentation for a variety of continuous and batch applications.
• Assist in providing hardware FAT procedures .
• Resolve, trace and escalate critical issues to achieve project success.
• Report on project progress and communicate relevant information to superiors and company management.
• Define and prepare project responsibilities assignment matrix.
• Communicate intensively with clients, sub-contractors and vendors to establish an effective working relationship.

Required Competencies:

• Bachelor of Science in CHE, EE, ME, Computer Science, other related disciplines
• MS Office experience
• 7+ years Control Systems experience - DCS, PLCs
• Experience scoping, hardware, software and graphics for DCS Systems - Delta
  
  V preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong communication and written skills
• Experience managing industrial automation projects.
• Good interpersonal skills
