Essential Job Functions: Under the supervision of the Summer Track & Field Supervisor plan, instruct and coach track and field participants. Knowledge of track and field current practices. Supervise the proper and safe use of equipment.

This position requires 100% onsite work. May be exposed to varying weather conditions. Work hours may vary. May be exposed to heat outdoors. Work hours vary to practice track and field schedule.
KnowledgeKnowledge of current track and field practices.
Skills/AbilitiesAbility to coach and supervise youth between the ages of 8 - 18.
Physical RequirementsConstantly sees and hears; frequently stands, stoops and writes by hand, files, walks and twists body; infrequently operates a calculator, cleans, kneels, runs, squats, sits, climbs, carries, drags, holds, pushes, pulls and lifts objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
Education/ExperienceHigh school graduate. Experience in track and field. Knowledge of rules and policies regarding track and field.
