Teacher Open Transfer Window for 2024 - 2025 School Year
Open Teacher Transfer Period:
Wednesday, April 14, 2025 through Monday, April 28, 2025
Teachers:
1. If considering a transfer, you must ensure that you meet the following criteria:
* Must hold a valid Standard Texas Teacher Certificate in the requested subject area vacancy
* One-year certifications such as - Intern or Probationary, Emergency Permit, one-year out-of-state, and Adjunct teachers, are not eligible for Transfer requests
* Standard Educator's Certification must be current, and not expired
* Must not be on a Growth Plan
* Must have demonstrated a level of effective performance in the school year
* ALL transfer applications must be completed and accepted via our online job postings in Frontline Recruit & Hire. No paper forms will be accepted.
* Each Campus will have its own posting for "Open Teacher Transfer Request"
* Only open Teaching positions at each campus will be considered, as this transfer opportunity is for Teachers only.
* Teacher must include your current Principal's name and email address in the reference survey section of your application. This will route a survey for completion and will serve as acknowledgment to your current Principal your Teacher Transfer Request.
Current Principal:
* The current Principal will receive an emailed reference survey from the leaving teacher. The survey must be completed and submitted within 2-days. This is a required form and must be attached to the Teacher's application for the receiving Principal's review.
Receiving Principal:
* Review and locate prospective incumbent's wish to transfer to your campus via TEAMS Recruit & Hire as with normal application screening processes. Schedule interviews via phone or the social media platform of your choosing e.g. (Facebook, Zoom etc…)
* After the interview, check their current Principal for a reference, and then you may submit your recommendation for hire as normal via TEAMS Frontline Recruit & Hire, this indicates acceptance of the incumbent to your campus for the 2024 - 2025 school year. In your recommendation be sure to indicate the PCN number you wish this person to transfer into.
* The recommendation for hire will be routed as normal to the appropriate HR Support Specialist for your campus. The Specialist will notify the incumbents receipt of recommendation and that their transfer has been accepted.

* Transfers are not approved until notification has been received via email from Human Resources.
* Incomplete Transfer forms WILL NOT be processed.
* All notifications will be completed by May 9, 2025.
