Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a hands‑on Facilities Lead in Beaumont, TX. In this result‑driven and resourceful role, you will be responsible for scheduling work orders, coordinating backfill coverage and assisting with supervision of facilities staff. Scheduling & Coordination- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for facilities staff.
- Coordinate coverage for absences, vacations, and emergencies (backfill supervision).
- Track and prioritize work orders and service requests.
- Work with Facilities Outside Services Coordinator when services and repairs require a service provider.
- May be required to back fill a Facilities Specialist position if the need arises.
- Assist the Facilities Supervisor in overseeing the performance and productivity of the facilities team.
- Conduct walkthroughs and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on procedures, safety protocols, and task execution.
- Develop processes and guidelines to streamline work processes.
- Help onboard and train new team members.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and inventory.
- Prepare reports on facility operations, staffing, and service metrics.
- Monitor supply levels and initiate procurement requests as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Act as a point of contact between facilities staff and other departments.
- Communicate scheduling changes, priorities, and updates clearly and promptly.
- Support cross‑functional projects involving facilities operations.
- Actively work with all facilities team members to accomplish daily activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License, Class C, with a good driving record.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities coordination, maintenance, or related field.
- Building maintenance craft skills which include carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and tool usage.
- Computer skills including Microsoft programs and scheduling software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions.
SCHEDULE:
MID SHIFT - 11:00 AM TO 7:30 PM
HOURLY RATE: $18‑$20/hr doe
