Maintenance Technician II

Starting Pay: $32 - $37 per hour

Shift: Rotating

Hours:

6am-3pm, 8am-5pm, 2pm-11pm, 10pm-6am

What You Will Do:

* Conduct advanced preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and food production machinery to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.

* Perform complex mechanical repairs including shaft keying, sprocket broaching, gear head replacement, stainless steel welding, hydraulic hose fabrication, and belt maintenance using specialized tools and equipment.

* Assist with equipment setup, teardown, welding, fabrication, and installation of new or modified plant machinery to support production needs.

* Diagnose mechanical issues through observation, auditory assessment, and use of precision measuring instruments, and effectively identifying and resolving root causes.

* Utilize SAP software to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and communicate effectively with production and operations teams to optimize workflow.

What You Will Bring:

* High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.

* 3+ years of related experience.

* Work different ranges of hours such as full-time, overtime, or weekend shifts.

* Basic to advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical and building skills.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
