PositionHighlights & Primary Responsibilities
- Daytime hospitalist, 7 on/off
- Be part of a collaborative and comprehensive health care team
- All patients will have a Well Med‑employed, contracted, or affiliated PCP
- Our model is designed to provide the most efficient, comprehensive, and proven care techniques to treat the whole patient – physically, mentally, and socially
- Quality vs. Quantity Model – typically 10 to 13 patients per day per hospitalist
- Patient panel is limited to geriatrics with Medicare Advantage coverage

Required Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine, or currently completing an accredited residency program
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Texas, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
- Valid DEA license, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
- Working understanding and support of a managed care environment
The salary range for this role is $260,000 to $387,000 per year for full‑time employment. Pay is based on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and more. United Health Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
