Job Responsibilities

Join our team! Technical College of the Low country is recruiting Clinical Nursing Adjunct Instructors for Hampton, Beaufort, and New River Campuses!

Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching Responsibilities

* Instruction including hands-on and theory, clinical management of students, and administrative tasks that may include reports, clinical documentation, and student evaluations.

* Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis.

* Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress.

* Direct supervision of students in a variety of clinical settings.

Instructional Development

* Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.

* Work with other areas of the college such as Tutoring, Retention, etc. to help ensure student success.

* Prepare reports in cooperation with Division Dean for input in planning/reporting system and/or for submission to the accrediting body of the College or program.

Professional Development

* Attend relevant professional meetings.

* Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at local, state, and national levels.

* Maintain frequent communication with nursing faculty (or course coordinators).

Minimum and Additional Requirements

REQUIRED:

Bachelor's Degree in nursing is required. South Carolina Nursing License required with a minimum of two years' experience in Long Term Care, Mental Health, Med-Surge, or Maternal Child Nursing. Must have current BLS certification. Must meet all requirements for clinical participation per clinical facility.

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED:
Master's Degree in Nursing
