** Beauceville**.The plant controller oversees the financial aspects of the plant, focusing on raw material and yield analysis while supporting the team in managing labor and other expenses. This role, as a business partner to the manufacturing team, aims to ensure the accuracy of financial information, help interpret results, optimize operations, and carry out transformation projects.

* Salary scale 005: $ 82 600 à $103 200 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)
** What this role involves:
** More specifically, the responsibilities of the
** Plant controller**:
* Determine milk payment and produce periodic analyses of material performance as well as associated performance indicators (KPIs).
* Support the plant analyst and clerk in month-end closing activities (volumes, labor, and other expenses).
* Develop the plant’s manufacturing budget in collaboration with the plant operations analyst.
* Establish the calculation of plant costs (variable cost + fixed expenses) in collaboration with the plant operations analyst.
* Assist the plant management team in developing and monitoring KPIs to evaluate functional performance and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
* Participate in cost control and contribute to future improvements by providing financial analyses and recommendations.
* Produce fact-based information derived from data to support decision-making and implement productivity measures aimed at reducing overall costs.
* Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
** What you need to join our team:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
* An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
* Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
* Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written, is an asset.
* CPA designation (asset).
* Strong leadership skills, including strategic thinking, promoting teamwork, building relationships, and demonstrated experience in change management.
* In-depth business knowledge, understanding of policies, practices, trends, technologies, and current and future information affecting the organization, knowledge of competitors, and understanding of market strategies.
* Ability to implement processes to organize and accomplish tasks, structure people and activities to support process flow, measure process success, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, and simplify complex processes.
* Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
* Aptitude for applying logic and methods to solve complex problems with effective solutions.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, adapt quickly to a changing environment, and think independently.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with executives, managers, colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders.
* Intermediate math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, comparative analysis, measurements, statistical analysis).
* Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and industry-specific software.
* Demonstrate professionalism in collaborating with others and maintaining constructive working relationships.
