Role summary
:
The Server goes beyond taking orders by guiding guests through the menu, offering recommendations that elevate the dining and gaming experience and overall guest satisfaction, while driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Follow Five Iron standards for guest engagement, including prompt drink service, upselling techniques, and contributing to a lively atmosphere
• Accurately take food and drink orders
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
• Maintain extensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings; present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations
• Monitor guests’ experience and promptly address any concerns
• Use point-of-sale terminals to enter orders and process payments accurately
• Ensure the golf simulators, tables, chairs, and surrounding areas are clean and presentable
• Check in with guests throughout their booking to ensure satisfaction and promptly address concerns
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology, products, and promotions
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness
• Verify guests’ legal drinking age
• Assist with closing duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Server and/or hospitality experience encouraged but not required
• Upbeat energy and enthusiasm
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a team
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods
• Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

: $5.35/hr + tips
