- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1800 – $1890
- Openings: 1
- Experience: No minimum ICU RN (critical care) experience required
- Licensure: Active RN license in Ohio or eligible through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Certifications: Critical Care RN certification preferred;
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred - Credentialing: Ability to complete onboarding: background check, education & employment verification, skills checklist, competency exam, core competencies, and health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, COVID-19 vaccine if required)
- Other: Valid Driver's License or State
- Experience with ventilator management and mechanical ventilation care
- Hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive drips
- Central line care, arterial lines, and complex medication administration
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate clinical documentation
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring of vital signs and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and titratable drips per provider orders and ICU protocols
- Provide ventilator and airway management support as indicated
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
- Educate and support patients and families during critical illness and transitions of care
- Adhere to infection prevention, hospital policies, and critical care best practices for patient safety
