Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN with at least 18 months of permanent endoscopy experience, a current OH or compact RN license, and BLS & ACLS certification.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital-based Endoscopy unit,

• Care for patients across pre-op, intra-procedure, and post-op endoscopy phases,

• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week,

• No PBDS assessment required; ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate tests completed during orientation,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand,

• Minimum 18 months of permanent endoscopy RN experience required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation,

• One supervisory reference in specialty required for consideration,

• Facility does not accept license or background check hits with open cases,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include pre-operative assessment, endoscopy procedure assistance, and post-operative patient care,

• Annual and pre-start online learning modules are required and tracked by Silkroad,

• Fingerprinting and badge pick-up must be completed onsite prior to start,

• Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements,

• Assignments cannot exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, with a 6-month break required before returning,

• Candidates who have been permanent or per diem staff at Cleveland Clinic hospitals must wait 1 year before returning,
