Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,

• Every other holiday coverage required,

• Local candidates are accepted,

Job Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,

• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required,

• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty is required for consideration,

• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,

Additional Information

• PBDS Assessment is waived for this position,

• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required (maximum of 2 attempts),

• Candidates must complete onsite badging and fingerprinting at the facility prior to their start date,

• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract,

• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement,

• No open background case or license hits will be accepted,

• Former permanent or per diem employees of Cleveland Clinic must have a minimum 1-year break before being considered,

• Travelers may work at this health system for up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required,

• All requested time off must be disclosed prior to or at the time of interview,

• Only one position within the Cleveland Clinic Health System may be held at a time,
