Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license currently in hand,

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent (not travel) Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required,

• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty is required for consideration,

• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted,

• Travelers must work at least every other holiday,

• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required (maximum of 2 attempts),

• PBDS assessment is waived,

• Candidates who have previously worked permanently or per diem at a Cleveland Clinic facility must wait 1 year from their end date before returning,

• Onsite badging and fingerprinting must be completed at the facility prior to the start date,

• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission,

• Background and license history are reviewed; open cases or license hits are not accepted,

• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirements until further notice,
