Oracle Applications DBA

Akkodis is seeking an Oracle Applications DBA for a Contract job with a client in Beachwood, OH. This role requires strong hands‑on experience in Oracle Applications 11i/R12/R12.2, Oracle Database administration, patching, cloning, and performance tuning.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Administer and maintain Oracle Applications 11i, R12.1, and R12.2 multi‑node environments.
• Perform day‑to‑day Oracle Database and Oracle Applications administration and troubleshooting.
• Execute patching activities using adpatch and adop for Oracle Applications environments.
• Conduct performance diagnostics and tuning for Oracle databases, applications, and concurrent programs.
• Manage user administration, responsibility assignments, and security configurations.
• Clone Oracle Applications environments and manage Concurrent Managers.
• Administer and maintain Web Logic components for R12.2 E‑Business Suite.
• Maintain and support Oracle Workflow processes.
• Work with RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and support PSU/CPU/Rollup patches.

• 6–8 years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA / Oracle EBS DBA.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database, Oracle Applications 11i/R12/R12.2 architecture, utilities, and tools.
• Experience supporting multi‑node Oracle Apps environments.
• Strong knowledge of RAC, ASM, Data Guard, PSU/CPU patching.
• Expertise in RMAN, OEM/Grid Control, Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience in change management, data migration, and lifecycle database support.
• Good to have:
  Oracle certifications, Web Logic/OAM/SSO/OID/Golden Gate, SOX experience, OCI knowledge.
• Strong plus: SQL/PLSQL development experience.
• Bachelors Degree required.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
