Overview
REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third‑party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. We convert aluminum scrap and by‑products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.
As our new REAL ALLOY Tax Accountant
, you will support and work alongside the Tax Manager in all aspects of our tax process including federal, state, local, and international tax compliance as well as financial reporting.
Responsibilities of our Tax Accountant include:
- Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual tax accruals and associated work papers
- Engaging in consulting and special projects as needed
- Interacting with Real Alloy’s management team on various tax matters
- Researching and responing to miscellaneous tax questions involving such matters as income taxes, property, licenses or sales and use
- Performing tax research
- Assisting with International tax planning and compliance and with IRS, State, and Local tax audits
- Reviewing and preparing monthly/quarterly sales and use tax and property filings
- Gathering and reviewing data necessary for federal, state, and local tax compliance process

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT THE CORPORATE OFFICE IN BEACHWOOD, OHIO (SUBERB OF CLEVELAND) - Candidate must live local to be able to communte to office 3 days a week.
QualificationsTax Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with public CPA firm or private company
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently to research and resolve issues
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to learn and expand your knowledge in income and non-income fields
