The shift is Monday - Friday, approximately 8:30 am – 5:00 pm ET (hours in other time zones may be adjusted). The person who fills this role will train/work in one of the local offices listed in the posting. After training they will be allowed to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home if desired.

Overview

Responsible for collecting and evaluating data to monitor collateral and manage client risk profiles. This role involves analyzing payroll registers against purchased invoices to ensure client compliance with company standards and to identify potential fraud, while making informed collateral risk alert decisions based on the gathered information.

Responsibilities

Advance Partners, a Paychex‑backed financial services firm founded in 1998 and based in Cleveland, OH, empowers staffing agencies with payroll funding, invoice factoring, back‑office support, and strategic services. Serving 600+ firms with nearly $8 billion annually, they offer flexible capital, compliance expertise, and growth‑focused advisory tailored to the talent acquisition industry.

  • Conduct invoice aging audits to ensure accurate and complete collateral documentation is obtained and maintained
  • Compare billing to payroll and analyze trends and markup
  • Maintain detailed records of audit findings and communicate results to relevant stakeholders
  • Review client billing processes to verify that proper steps are followed and documented
  • Collaborate with Collateral Risk Associates to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist in the development and refinement of audit procedures and checklists
  • Support internal reporting and analysis related to collateral risk and audit outcomes
  • Partner with senior team members to enhance audit strategies and ensure alignment with broader risk‑management goals
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and accuracy in collateral audits
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field – Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in banking, finance, accounting, or audit type role related to close monitoring of accounts/processes
Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the starting base pay range for this position is $18.00 – $28.00 hourly. This range is the base pay only and does not include other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If hired at Paychex, overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
