The Administrative Assistant, Purchasing position provides a professional and supportive role to the VP of Procurement, works independently to manage duties and completes all tasks in a time sensitive manner. Acts as the liaison with other departments within Saber i.e.: AP/Accounting, external supply and vendor partners, manages supplier formula items on e-procurement system and supports end users with access/training support. Assists in managing portfolio programs such as vehicles, copiers, trash collection, rentals via internal or external portals.
Education/Qualifications- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, basic Excel and familiar with accounting systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One of more years of experience in administrative support
- One of more years of experience working Purchasing with the following:
- Price/specification verification
- Securing supplier recommendations
- Coordinating department approvals
- Forwarding
- Vendor contracts
- Monitoring and expediting orders
- One or more years of experience with reporting & documentation skills, change management, client relationships/customer service, vendor relationship, innovation, developing standards, working within a budget and administrative writing.

Days - Wage: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
