CDL Driver

Job Description

Vinmar International is looking for a reliable and skilled CDL Driver to join our logistics team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and products safely and efficiently between our facilities and to customer locations. This position requires a strong adherence to safety protocols, excellent driving skills, and the ability to maintain a schedule. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), experience with freight transportation, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

• Operate company trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
• Load and unload materials as necessary, ensuring that cargo is secured properly
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel use, and other relevant documentation
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record
• Experience in freight transportation preferred
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary
