Mechanic

Position Title: Mechanic Location: ATP Employment Type: Full-Time

ATP is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment.

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately
• Conduct safety checks and ensure equipment is operating properly
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support operational needs

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must have PPE and follow all safety protocols
