• Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all employees follow Sterling safety policies.
• Provide detailed site surveys / job walks to determine crane requirements.
• Generate timely quotations for clients based on site surveys and client requests.
• Communicate all requirements to the dispatcher to ensure successful job completion.
• Build exceptional customer relations through effective communication.
• Respond promptly to customer issues or concerns.
• Seek customer feedback regularly and incorporate the data into strategies.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Adhere strictly to company administrative policies (sales calls, quote follow‑up, credit checks, etc.).
• Perform due diligence on client credit worthiness to ensure payment within agreed terms.
• Show continuous year‑over‑year growth to company revenue line.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Sales training or relevant crane experience.
• Established accounts preferred.
• 1+ year crane sales experience required.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• 3D lift plan experience preferred.

The work environment is 75% outdoors in various weather conditions, frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles or toxic chemicals. Exposure to moving mechanical parts is frequent. Noise level is usually moderate.

Employees must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, balance and lift moving heavy materials. Workers must tolerate uneven terrain and various weather conditions, and have adequate visual acuity for close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
