  • Sets up and operates one or more machines to bevel, pencil edge, and polish rectangular glass or mirror edges:
    Loosens calibrated gauge with wrench and turns gauge to set grinding wheels to cut bevel to close tolerances.
  • Press buttons and turn hand wheels to start the flow of coolant and polishing compound onto grinding wheels.
  • Starts the machine and places the material conveyor of the machine.
  • Observe the ammeter to determine the grinding load.
  • Turn the hand wheels to adjust the grinding wheels.
  • Move the material from the machine and wipe the edges to remove the polishing compound.
