Material Expeditor role at Koch Engineered Solutions.

Job location:

Mt. Belvieu, TX.

• Coordinate and expedite flow of materials within the jobsite, according to production and shipping schedules.
• Examine material delivered to jobsite for damages.
• Arrange on site transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain status and location of materials.
• Monitor and control movement of material upon arrival to the site.
• Be a team player with a customer-focused mindset; prioritize safety in all decisions.
• Act as a safety role model for the team and enforce OPD and client safety policies and procedures on the jobsite.

• Actively participate in a strong safety culture and recognize safety hazards and risks.
• Participate in onsite safety meetings and follow OPD and client safety policies and procedures.
• Be on time each day and ready for work; display a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail to avoid reworks and errors.

• Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions, including extreme heat/cold and high elevations.
• Lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs; regular use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, bending, and balancing.
• Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.

• One or more years of experience with pipe, valves, and fittings in a gas plant construction environment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specifications.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with critical deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
• Ability to meet all physical demands of the job and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Willingness to work in a team environment with a customer focus.

• Past experience as a materials helper; experience in Supply Chain and inventory management.
