Overview
Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for 1st and 2nd shift Warehouse Workers in Baytown, Texas. As a Warehouse Worker, you will:
- Manual labor including sorting, measuring, scanning, registering, picking, and other various tasks.
- Loading and Unloading
- Picker/Packer
- Moving Pallets
This is a full-time long-term opportunity. Monday – Friday
1st shift – 4:30am to 2pm
2nd shift – 2:30pm to 12am
The ideal candidate will have:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
- Physical demands:
Must be able to lift 55 — 100 lbs. - Warehouse environment: in and outdoor with possible extreme weather conditions.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
- Perform various tasks in assistance or in support of the KTN organization including but not limited to general labor.
- Be willing to work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to the needs of the business.
- Punctuality is a must; be on time and ready to work at the start shift.
- Be able to follow all Visual Operating Procedures required for your assigned task.
- This customer requires special attention with regards to dangerous goods in compliance with US DOT, IATA, and ICAO. The ideal candidate will possess prior working experience with these specifications.
- Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and follow/execute all safety procedures/rules as outlined in the KTN Safety Manual and OSHA Regulations.
Pay Rate: $16.00- $18.50 per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
