Our client, a leading organization in the industry sector, is seeking a Desktop Technician - Advanced Level to join their team. As a Desktop Technician - Advanced Level, you will be part of the IT support department supporting technical operations and user assistance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Desktop Technician - Advanced Level
Location: Baytown, TX
Pay Rate: $35 - $38/hr.
- Provide advanced technical support for desktop hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and technical configurations.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures during support activities.
- Proven experience in desktop support or related IT roles.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical users.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with a focus on customer service.
