Caregiver, Healthcare Nursing, Home Health Aide

This is a full-time or part-time Caregiver position located on-site in Baytown, TX or Highlands, TX. The Caregiver will provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Daily responsibilities may include assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and maintaining a supportive and positive environment. The Caregiver will also monitor residents' health and report any changes to the appropriate personnel, fostering a safe and caring atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proficient in providing personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Experience in meal preparation and assistance with dietary needs
• Ability to handle light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact empathetically with residents and their families
• Knowledge of health and safety practices, including medication reminders and monitoring health status
• Basic knowledge of caregiving practices; on-site experience or certification in caregiving is preferred
• Physical stamina and strength to assist residents with mobility and daily activities
• High school diploma or equivalent; CPR or First Aid certification is a plus, CNA or Med Aide certification is a plus
