The dietary aide helps with meal preparation, delivery, and clean‑up while adhering to regulatory standards and departmental policies.

• Assist cook with food prep and delivery; collect and wash dishes/utensils ensuring cleanliness.
• Properly handle chemicals and cleaning compounds using PPE and following safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with sanitary, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing walls and equipment while wearing PPE.
• Safely utilize equipment; report any equipment needing service or repair immediately.
• Adhere to the Department Food & Nutrition Services dress code.
• Maintain regular attendance per FPACP attendance policy.
• Promote positive customer service with residents, family members, guests, and team members.
• Understand that other duties not listed may be required as needed.

• Must have a ROCKSTAR attitude.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively.
• Food Handlers Certification required (present at orientation before kitchen work).
• Preferred experience working in a healthcare setting.

Ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
