- Shifts per Week: 4
- Shift Schedule: 10 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- On-Call: Rotating schedule (1 weekend every 6 weeks, 4-5 weekdays during a 6-week period); must respond within 30 minutes
- On-Site Position
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- 2-3 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience in a clinical healthcare setting
- Proficiency with EPIC and Mac-Lab electronic health record systems
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Impella, and OCTIVUS devices
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to facility needs
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms; respond to cardiac emergencies
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment including IABP, Impella, and OCTIVUS
- Document patient care and procedures using EPIC and Mac-Lab systems
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call rotations, delivering timely clinical support
