Operations Manager
CTG is seeking an experienced TA Mechanical Construction Manager. This role is responsible for leading safe and efficient mechanical construction activities during turnaround execution and close-out.
Key InformationLocation: Baytown, TX
Duration: 6 month
Pay Rate: $57.00/hour
Key Responsibilities- Lead field execution of mechanical turnaround activities with a strong focus on EHS compliance
- Manage and toil coordinate multiple contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution
- Serve as front‑line liaison between Operations, Planning, QA, and Execution teams
- Oversee field changes impacting cost, scope, or schedule and ensure proper approvals
- Monitor look‑ahead schedules, validate field progress, and ensure accurate daily updates
- Coordinate logistics, resolve field drawing discrepancies, and prevent rework
- Provide daily shift reports and ensure timely incident reporting
- Prior Turnaround (TA) construction management experience preferred
- Strong mechanical construction and contractor management background
- Proven leadership in industrial or plant environments
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical degree or trade background preferred
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
