We Are Hiring for a Parts Clerk/ Service Writer in Baytown, TX!
Transdev in Baytown, TX is hiring a Parts Clerk. The Parts Clerk ensures efficient vehicle maintenance scheduling and manages orders. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. The hours of operation are Monday - Thursday, 6:30 am - 5:00pm.

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.00 – Maximum $23.00
• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

• Open work request immediately upon receipt.
• Close work request immediately upon completion of quality inspection.
• Run and review reports as needed.
• Answer shop telephones and schedule repair appointments.
• Maintain vehicle information files.
• Take road call information and dispatch mechanics or outside service.
• Arrange pick-up of outside repairs.
• Order, receive and stock parts; maintains storage area.
• Computer data entry & pulling reports.
• Maintain files and other related records.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of parts or vehicle maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Previous vehicle maintenance administrative experience preferred.
• Computer literate with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
