Overview
Night Warehouse Associate – a highly physical role that selects and fills orders, prepares pallets and loads trucks for morning deliveries while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.
Responsibilities- Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking‑in merchandise.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull materials; pack boxes and place orders in the delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to organizational standards.
- Handle all products with care to avoid damage and loss.
- Open bales, crates and other containers using a box cutter.
- Use pump pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, sit‑down hi‑lo forklift, stand‑up hi‑lo forklift and safety ladders to select products from warehouse shelves and prepare pallets.
- Fill out pre and post‑trip sheets for forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed; may also assist in counting physical inventory.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
- Assist with equipment maintenance, data entry and computer‑related tasks as needed.
- Take initiative to accomplish open tasks; be proactive and seek additional work when available.
- Complete safety training sessions and pass safety training tests at hire and annually.
- Act in compliance with safety practices and procedures throughout the warehouse; report any safety concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop as needed.
- Maintain positive work relations; support teamwork and help coworkers achieve team goals.
- Listen and communicate respectfully with employees at all levels within the organization and with outside vendors.
- Maintain regular attendance and follow call‑out and time‑off procedures as outlined in the handbook.
- Comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Minimum of 3 years experience.
- Basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Time management; ability to handle multiple demands and meet deadlines.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior work experience in a warehouse setting or as a selector.
- Experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks and RF scanners.
This job operates in a warehouse environment. The role routinely uses equipment such as sit‑down and stand‑up hi‑lo forklifts, pump and electric pallet jacks, ladders and RF scanner guns.
Physical RequirementsRegular perform duties include standing; walking; climbing stairs/ladders; stooping; kneeling; crouching; balancing; using hands to operate devices; reaching with arms; lifting/carrying 25‑50 lb from floor to waist height, 25‑50 lb from waist to shoulders, occasionally over 50 lb; pushing/pulling items 25‑50 lb, occasionally over 50 lb.
TravelTravel is not required for this role.
Position Type / HoursFull‑time. Days of work Sunday through Thursday. Hours approximately 35‑40+ hours per week. Night shift starts ~6:00 pm and ends when workload is complete, by ~7:00 am. Some Associates are scheduled to work four days per week; longer hours occasionally.
