Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and modern front-end technologies to support enterprise-level application development for a large financial services environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on development experience, architectural insight, and the ability to work effectively in Agile teams.

Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong experience with Java
  , Spring MVC
  , Spring Boot
• Front-end development using Angular
  , DOM
  , jQuery
  , AJAX
• Extensive experience with REST and SOAP Web Services
• Proficient in API integrations
  , handling XML and JSON
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• 10+ years of overall IT experience with full stack development

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Angular and Java-based backend technologies
• Build and consume SOAP and RESTful APIs with high performance and scalability
• Perform hands-on development across UI, business logic, and integration layers
• Utilize Log4j for logging and debugging,
  JUnit for unit and integration testing
• Work with XML Spy for XML validation and schema handling
• Write complex SQL queries
  , Oracle PL/SQL
  , and work with JDBC
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
• Ensure application quality, performance, and adherence to enterprise standards

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

• Strong experience in payment systems
• Knowledge of ISO XML and MT message formats
• Exposure to financial services or banking domain is a plus
