Job Responsibilities:

Integration Standards & Governance

• Define and maintain enterprise standards for API design, event schemas, messaging patterns, and integration contracts.
• Establish integration governance spanning AWS, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and on-premises systems.
• Define patterns for ADS (Authorized Data Source) alignment, data contracts, schema evolution, and anchor key management.
• Enforce adherence to enterprise security principles including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, TLS, and Zero-Trust patterns.

Blueprints & Reference Architecture

• Develop and maintain unified integration architecture blueprints covering cloud, Fabric, and on-prem connectivity.
• Create domain-specific and cross-domain integration flow maps, canonical API designs, and event-driven reference architectures.
• Align AWS, Azure, MS Fabric, and on-prem patterns under a unified architectural vision.

Reusable Patterns & Engineering Enablement

• Build reusable integration patterns across:
  AWS: API Gateway, Event Bridge, SNS/SQS, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lake Formation, Kinesis, Batch, ECR, ECS Fargate
  Azure: APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory (all IR types), Synapse Pipelines, Stream Analytics, Batch, Data Explorer ingestion
  Microsoft Fabric: Data Factory pipelines, Lakehouse ingestion, Fabric Data Pipelines, Notebook-based ETL, Warehouse ingestion
  On-prem: MFT, MQ, legacy systems
• Provide templates for API contracts, event schemas, error-handling patterns, observability instrumentation, and resiliency models.

Metadata, ADS & Anchor Key Integration

• Define integration patterns embedding ADS rules, domain ownership requirements, and anchor key management.
• Ensure patterns incorporate security, observability, lineage, and operational resiliency.
• Collaborate with governance teams to ensure alignment with entity resolution and domain identifier mappings.

Domain Engagement & Architecture Review

• Guide domain teams in implementing target-state integration architectures.
• Lead or participate in architecture reviews for API designs, event models, integration flows, and platform connectivity.
• Recommend modernization strategies to migrate away from legacy integration mechanisms and toward API-first and event-driven architectures.

Must Have /

Required:



Cloud & Integration Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Microsoft Fabric services, especially across API, eventing, orchestration, and ingestion layers.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, including API-led, event-driven, and messaging models.
• Experience building or governing integration standards, API contracts, event schemas, and security patterns.

Architecture & Governance

• Ability to develop reference architectures, reusable blueprints, and cross-domain integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of ADS (Authorized Data Sources), metadata-driven patterns, data contracts, and schema evolution.

Security & Operational Patterns

• Experience implementing OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, TLS, Zero-Trust, and platform-level security models.
• Familiarity with observability hooks, error-handling frameworks, lineage, and resiliency patterns.

Collaboration & Review

• Experience leading architecture reviews and guiding domain teams through design patterns and modernization efforts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex architecture patterns for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
