PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Standing, lifting, pulling and pushing, manipulating a needle and syringe to prepare IV products using aseptic technique.

REPORTS TO:

Director of Pharmacy.

CONTACTS:
Nurses, Technicians, Aides, Physicians and other Health Care Professionals.

SUPERVISES:
Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Clerk.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Dispensing and compounding of medications using pharmaceutical care skills, maintaining records requested by regulations and departmental policy, furnishing drug information whenever appropriate or as requested, and consulting prescribers whenever needed.

• EDUCATION:
  
  BS in Pharmacy
• EXPERIENCE:
  
  Hospital/Clinical Pharmacy experience preferred
