Responsibilities
Kforce's client, a wholesaler, is looking to add to their staff and they have a need for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team in Parsippany, NJ. They offer great medical, dental and vision insurance for the employee as well as PTO and 401K. This is a permanent in‑office opportunity Monday – Friday.
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable department and manage 1‑2 AR/Credit associates.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, identifying and addressing overdue accounts.
- Maintain customer balances clean of deductions and past‑due invoices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and resolve disputes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding credit and collections.
- Prepare and present regular reports on outstanding receivables and department performance to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, customer service, warehouse, and logistics.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounts receivable team.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Computer savvy – using AI, Excel, and Quick Books.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
