Behaviour & Inclusion Support (Secondary) HAY Scale 6A-E (£21,905 - £22,980 gross actual salary per annum) 35 hours per week Term time only
We are looking to appoint to our Behaviour & Inclusion Support post based at our Secondary site.
As Behaviour & Inclusion Support, you will provide support in addressing the needs of students who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning in order to foster an inclusive environment for all learners.
ResponsibilitiesKey elements of this role include liaising with parents/carers regarding behaviour and welfare; developing preventative behaviour strategies; working with other colleagues to secure learning and track pupil performance; monitoring and tracking pupil behaviour; recognising and rewarding pupil success; supporting teachers and learning to ensure an inclusive culture; and to provide bespoke support for the successful re‑tracking and reintegration of students into the mainstream provision.
QualificationsWe are looking for someone who has a keen interest in the care, learning and development of students; has a positive approach to inclusive practice; has patience, empathy, and strong communication skills; the ability to form positive relationships with students, staff, and families; is receptive and can adapt to different situations.
