Dedicated manufacturing leader Duro Dyne National Corporation is expanding its team to include a highly motivated Shipping Clerk. Established in 1952, Duro Dyne has grown into the leading manufacturer of sheet metal accessories and HVAC equipment and now employs over 200 people worldwide. The Shipping Clerk will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient shipping of a high volume of orders.
Responsibilities- Receive, verify, and process incoming orders accurately and efficiently.
- Match orders to packing slips or invoices to confirm correctness of items and quantities.
- Securely pack items and label packages with appropriate shipping information, including addresses and tracking numbers.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate record‑keeping.
- Coordinate with carriers, schedule pickups or deliveries, and select appropriate shipping methods based on cost, urgency, and item.
- Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading and shipping manifests.
- Generate shipping labels and affix them correctly to each package.
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding shipping matters.
- Provide shipment status updates to customers when necessary and inspect outgoing orders to ensure quality standards.
- Address and resolve discrepancies or issues with shipments and maintain attention to detail in packaging and labeling.
- Organize and prioritize tasks, manage multiple shipments simultaneously, and demonstrate familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
- Generate required reports and participate in the year‑end inventory control audit.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- 1‑2 years of previous shipping experience.
- Availability to work Monday‑Friday 6am‑4pm.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 35lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to bend, twist, at the waist and knees to lift and reach items.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.

Job Type: Full‑time
Hourly Rate – $19‑$24/hour
