Hope For Youth is seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program.
Youth ACT is a program licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and designed to address the significant needs of children ages 10 to 21 who are at risk of entering-or returning home from-high-intensity services such as inpatient or residential treatment. Using a multi-disciplinary team approach, Youth ACT provides intensive, community-based support to help children with serious psychiatric needs remain safely in their homes whenever possible.
Key Responsibilities60% Direct client therapeutic contact including transportation
20% Case documentation, reports, case related meetings
20% Staff/team meetings/supervision/training
To qualify for this job, you need to be or have a minimum:read/write reports and log entries, walking/standing/sitting for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, repetitive wrist/finger movements, and ongoing daily access to own vehicle
