Northwell Health’s Department of Cardiology is seeking a full-time BE/BC physician to join our cardiac team at South Shore University Hospital as the Director of Structural Heart Interventions.

• Provide leadership and direction for the structural heart program within the Interventional Cardiolog y department.
• Oversee diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to structural heart disease, including high risk PCI, CTO interventions, MCS, peripheral vascular interventions, and pulmonary embolism interventions.
• Develop and expand the program’s capabilities in structural heart interventions (PFO/ASD, TAVR, percutaneous mitral and tricuspid valve procedures) and participate in clinical trials as appropriate.
• Collaborate with cardiology and cardiac surgery staff, and contribute to regional and academic goals within Northwell Health.
• Support the education and mentorship of trainees and staff, and participate in program development and quality improvement activities.

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and General Cardiology.
• 5–7 years of experience in interventional cardiology with a focus on structural heart disease interventions (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience in a clinical setting (preferred).

South Shore University Hospital is a tertiary care cardiac program performing all aspects of cardiac and cardiac surgical care. The Interventional program offers all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including high risk PCI, CTO interventions, MCS, peripheral vascular interventions and pulmonary embolism interventions. The hospital has a robust structural heart program that includes high-volume PFO/ASD, TAVRs, and percutaneous mitral and tricuspid valve interventions, with opportunities to enroll in clinical research trials.
