Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef, based in Bay St. Louis, MS. The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring high food quality standards. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and plating dishes; supervising kitchen staff; maintaining inventory and supplies; and ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards. The Sous Chef will also assist in menu planning and help create an efficient, collaborative, and organized kitchen environment.
Qualifications- Culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Experience in kitchen management, staff supervision, and working in team environments
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and inventory management
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- Creativity in menu planning and recipe development
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Culinary arts certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is a plus
