Responsible for the daily operations of the Housekeeping department. Ensure that the cleanliness, safety, neatness and orderly condition of specified areas are maintained in accordance with company and departmental standards.
- Excellent internal/external guest service;
- Handle all personnel related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching and counseling;
- Monitor daily operations to ensure facilities are cleaned and maintained in accordance with company and/or departmental standards;
- Manage staff, equipment and supply levels in alignment with business and budgetary objectives and needs;
- Prepare and analyze reports relative to the operations of the department;
- Establish departmental guidelines, rules, regulations and training programs;
- Work with all departments including Risk to ensure safety standards are met;
- Trains and monitors use of chemicals;
- Handle guest complaints and concerns;
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
High School or better.
