Plans and directs the activities within the Accounts Payable and Payroll department. Directly supervises staff and coordinates the efforts related to company employee working hours, time records, and payroll control records. Compiles payroll and accounts payable journals, reports, and statistics. Ensures compliance with applicable tax laws.

• Reviews personnel records to ensure names, rates of pay, changes in wage rates, and occupations of workers are correctly maintained.
• Reviews payroll to ensure accuracy and validate 3rd party prepared federal and state payroll tax returns.
• Directs the processing of timekeeping, payroll, and related procedures and controls.
• Process liens and garnishments to employee payroll record. (including notification to employee)
• Assures required documents are attached to invoices for processing.
• Participates in the preparation of financial statements, reports and studies.
• Prepares and post checks for vendors.
• Ensures documents related to accounts payable are properly filed.
• Plans and directs the activities of payroll and accounts payable personnel.
• Addresses complaints and resolves payroll and accounts payable issues.
• Provide service to internal and external customers
• Other reasonable job assignment as required.
