As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Access in Bay Minette, AL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue badges, and track visitors and deliveries. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel.

• Provide customer service to individuals entering a manufacturing and industrial location by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit through designated access points by verifying identification, checking visitor authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining access logs per site requirements.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates and/or lobbies, direct visitors and contractors to the appropriate check-in areas, and report suspicious or unusual activity through the established chain of command.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting site personnel during emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
