Position: Travel Nurse in Bay City, MI
An experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse is needed for a travel assignment in the Bay City, MI area. This opportunity is ideal for an OR RN with a strong background in multiple surgical specialties and trauma care, looking to apply expertise in a dynamic hospital environment. Candidates will engage in diverse surgical procedures and contribute to optimal patient outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an RN in the Operating Room
• Proven Level 2 Trauma experience
• Proficient in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, General/Gynecology, and Urology procedures
• Recent travel nursing experience is highly preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Valid Michigan RN license
• Ability to provide two supervisory references from within the last two years
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Schedule:

• Twelve-hour shifts
• 3 shifts per week

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Monitor patient condition and respond to intraoperative changes
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to all infection control protocols
• Document surgical care and patient information accurately and timely
