A skilled Registered Nurse with Cath Lab expertise is needed for a travel opportunity in Bay City, Michigan.
This role offers the chance to apply specialized nursing skills in a dynamic interventional cardiology environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in cardiac catheterization and a strong foundation in cardiac rhythm and interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care in the cath lab, supporting electrophysiology studies, and operating specialized equipment such as the intraaortic balloon pump. Nurses will collaborate with cardiologists and the clinical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during invasive cardiac procedures.
Qualifications & Desired
Experience:
- Current Michigan RN license required
- Cath Lab nursing experience mandatory
- Interventional Radiology experience highly preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in electrophysiology highly preferred
- Skilled in cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Proficient knowledge and operation of intraaortic balloon pump desirable
- Associates degree required;
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred - ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required
- Experience with EPIC system notation preferred (especially within the past year)
- COVID-19 vaccination required
