Role Description

The Director of Nursing will oversee nursing operations at our Bay City, MI location. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for ensuring high-quality and safe nursing care. Key responsibilities include managing nursing staff, developing care plans, overseeing infection control protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of excellence in long-term care. The Director will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and maintain a high level of satisfaction among residents and their families.

Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in Nursing and Medicine, including the ability to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients
  • Experience in Nursing Management and Long-term Care, with a focus on leadership, team coordination, and staff development
  • Strong knowledge of Infection Control practices and regulatory compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related field;
    Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and promote a high standard of patient care
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a long-term care or healthcare setting is a strong asset
