Contract Yaskawa Robot Programmer – Michigan, USA – Immediate Start – 4–6 Weeks (Likely Extension)
We’re looking for an experienced Yaskawa Robot Programmer to support the commissioning of a high‑profile material handling automation project based in Michigan.
This is a hands‑on, short‑term contract with strong potential to extend into the installation phase later this year. If you’re confident commissioning robots in a live production environment and enjoy being part of a fast‑moving integration team, this is an excellent opportunity.
What you’ll be doing :- Programming and commissioning Yaskawa robots within a multi‑robot material handling cell
- Supporting integration of collaborative robots and vision‑guided automation systems
- Debugging, optimising and ensuring reliable cycle performance
- Working closely with controls and mechanical teams to deliver a fully operational system
- Supporting final commissioning activities ahead of production handover
- Proven experience programming Yaskawa robots in an industrial environment
- Strong commissioning experience on automated manufacturing or material handling systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently on the shop floor
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced integration environment
- Availability for an immediate start
- Duration: 4–6 weeks initially, with strong likelihood of extension
- Hours:
45–50 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Start time flexibility (early start options available)
- No travel required for the initial contract phase
- Must have the right to work in the USA.
